Who's behind DemandScout
DemandScout is built and operated by Devops Team SRL, a company based in Carcea, Romania. We also run devopsteam.io, a DevOps and cloud consultancy that was DemandScout's first customer, and CloudOps, a bare-metal private cloud platform.
Why we built it
The idea came from selling consulting work. The obvious signals arrive late: when a company posts a DevOps job or sends out an RFP, the decision is half made and every agency has already seen it.
The companies worth calling show earlier signs, like a new funding round, a second cloud region, an outage or a new CTO. Those signs are public, but they're scattered and only make sense when you read them in order.
DemandScout reads them for you. It keeps a history of events for each company, scores companies against what you sell, and shows the story behind every score.
What we hold ourselves to
- Evidence over volume. Every score shows the events behind it, so you can judge a lead in seconds.
- Signals are hypotheses. Signs that can point either way, like layoffs, are never switched on for you by default.
- Companies, not people. We track companies and public events. We don't collect personal contact details.
